It's a wonderful time to work in ultrasound right now, says Prof. Paul Sidhu, professor of imaging sciences at King's College Hospital in London. He thinks the rapid improvements occurring in liver fat quantification are particularly exciting, and he also welcomes the prospect of male health international imaging guidelines for erectile dysfunction.
In a video interview, Sidhu, who is editor in chief of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology and former president of both the European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology and the British Medical Ultrasound Society, looks ahead to the program highlights for ECR 2025 and selects some scientific sessions that he eagerly awaits. He also talks about his hobbies and interests outside of radiology.
Editor's note: Please make sure you also check out the Road to ECR 2025: Ultrasound Preview, our guide to key sessions and technology trends for Europe's premier radiology congress, which begins in Vienna on 26 February.
