Siemens Healthineers to expand product line in China

Siemens Healthineers is expected to launch about 20 "made-in-China" products in the 2025 fiscal year, according to an article published on 8 April in China Daily.

The report states that Jerry Wang, president of Siemens Healthineers Greater China, noted at the China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) in Shanghai that the company has localized its product line in the country.

In January, Siemens Healthineers broke ground on a new high-end medical device R&D and production base in Shenzhen city, Guangdong province. This involves an investment of over 1 billion yuan (€122 million), and the new facility will operate alongside the existing production base in Shenzhen, according to the article.

The company also showcased its products at the CMEF, including its Magnetom Flow, the 7T Magnetom Terra.X, and the Acuson Sequoia Silver.
