Eckert & Ziegler is lauding the approval of Telix Pharmaceuticals' prostate cancer PET imaging agent, Illuccix, in Germany, where Eckert & Ziegler Radiopharma GmbH is the official distributor.
With Illuccix, Eckert & Ziegler will now extend its portfolio in nuclear medicine with this PSMA tracer. The company said Illuccix complements Eckert & Ziegler's proprietary germanium-68/gallium-68 radionuclide generator, GalliaPharm.
GalliaPharm is used as a good manufacturing practice grade generator for Gallium-68 in Germany and globally. It supports the production of radiopharmaceuticals for PET imaging, particularly in oncology.
