EANM expands program for younger professionals

The European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) has added 50 spots in its initiative to support the younger generation of nuclear medicine professionals, the Next-Gen Program.

Accepted applicants (under the age of 39) will receive free registration, free accommodation, and specific opportunities to network at the association’s 2025 annual meeting to be held from 4 to 8 October in Barcelona, Spain. Last year, EANM received 600 applications for 100 spots, and is offering 150 spots this year.

Applications from previous participants will not be considered, EANM said, and the organization noted that applications open on 7 April and close on 4 May, 23:59 CEST.

In other news, EANM said that now that its call for mentors has closed in its Mentorship Program, it’s time for future mentees to apply. Candidates are encouraged if they have less than seven years of post-PhD/medical degree experience, hold a valid EANM membership, reside in an EANM Delegates’ Assembly country, and are eager to advance their career. The deadline for applications is 4 May, 23:59 CEST.
