Neuroradiologist Dr. Salman Qureshi has become a familiar face on the international head and neck radiology conference circuit. After training and working in the North of England, he moved to Dubai in 2018 and now works as a consultant at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City / Mayo Clinic in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
In this interview, he shares insights on how he built his career and gives practical tips on making lifestyle choices. “The grass always seems greener on the other side,” he stresses, advising people to carefully consider the pros and cons before moving abroad.
Having embarked on a personal health and fitness transformation that involved losing 43 kg (nearly 7 stone) in four years, Qureshi also provides a glimpse into his plans to launch a social media channel covering his health and fitness journey from the perspective of a healthcare professional. "Everyone has something to share and offer on social media," he believes.
