Raffaella Basilico becomes Europe's new ER supremo

The European Society of Emergency Radiology (ESER) has appointed Dr. Raffaella Basilico as its new president, with effect from 1 March.

Basilico is an emergency radiology specialist at the Radiology Hospital of Chieti, Italy. In a statement, she said she is pleased to follow in the footsteps of other notable Italian members of the ESER, such as founding members Drs. Lorenzo Derchi, Vittorio Miele, and Mariano Scaglione.
