Increased direct sales and growing volume in support contracts in its medical systems business helped propel Swedish PACS and digital mammography developer Sectra to record sales in its 2006/2007 fiscal year.
For the year (end-April 30), the Linköping-based firm had net sales of 672.5 million Swedish kroner ($97.9 million U.S.), up 19.2% compared with the 564.4 million ($82.2 million) booked in 2005/2006. The company had profit after net financial items of 70.2 million kroner ($10.2 million), compared with profit after net financial items of 80.7 million ($11.7 million) a year ago.
