Elekta receives Gamma Knife order from Portugal

Stockholm-based Elekta has received an order for its Leksell Gamma Knife Perfexion system for noninvasive radiosurgery of brain disorders from Centro Gamma Knife Radiocirurgia in Portugal.

The system will be installed at Hospital CUF Infante Santo, which is part of the Jose Mello-Saude Group. The system is scheduled to be in clinical operation by early fall of this year.
