Swedish radiation therapy firm Elekta of Stockholm has inked a deal to sell two of its Elekta Synergy radiation therapy systems to Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in the U.K.
The order will bring to five the number of image-guided radiation therapy systems installed at the hospital. The new deal includes Elekta's HexaPod robotic patient positioning system and Mosaiq electronic medical records and networking software.
