The French subsidiary of Italian medical device firm Esaote of Genoa has signed an agreement to buy Kontron Medical from Tokyo-based medical instrument firm Fukuda Denshi.
Kontron is a medical equipment manufacturer and distributor specializing in ultrasound and patient monitoring systems, and is headquartered in Plaisir, France. Financial details of the proposed transaction were not disclosed.
