Swedish PACS and digital mammography vendor Sectra has signed an agreement to digitize the mammography operations of European laboratory and radiology services provider Capio Diagnostics.
In conjunction with the agreement, Capio has placed an initial order for six full-field digital mammography (FFDM) systems for two mammography clinics in Sweden. The order is Sectra's largest FFDM order to date, according to the Linköping-based vendor.
Capio is already using Sectra's PACS technology, and has extended its use of those systems to 2011. It has also added support for mammography examinations, Sectra said.
