Elekta to install Gamma Knife in London

Swedish radiation therapy firm Elekta of Stockholm will install its Leksell Gamma Knife Perfexion at the London Gamma Knife Centre in the U.K.

The installation is scheduled for this spring. The center noted that the addition of the gamma knife will enhance the facility's ability to perform noninvasive radiosurgery in the brain, head and neck, and cervical spine.
