Carestream Health of Rochester, NY, this week introduced advanced features for its PACS at the European Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ESTRO) meeting in Barcelona, Spain.
The features include a new image fusion application for PET/CT imaging, and enhancements to native real-time 3D capabilities. The software automatically overlays and registers image data from PET/CT systems, allowing oncologists enhanced visualization of anatomic and metabolic information to assess tumour volumes and disease progression.
