Interventional firm Cordis has signed a distribution agreement with Irish interventional technologies developer ClearStream Technologies Group.
Under terms of the deal, Cordis will market the Enniscorthy-based firm's percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) balloon catheters under the brand names Sleek and Savvy Long PTA balloon dilatation catheters.
The balloon catheters will be marketed by the Cordis Endovascular division of Cordis. Availability outside of the U.S. is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2007, according to Cordis of Warren, NJ.
