Misonix, Partnermed sign Scandinavian HIFU deal

Ultrasound technology developer Misonix said it has entered into a distribution agreement in Scandinavia for the firm's Sonoblate 500 high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) device with Partnermed.

The Farmingdale, NY-based Misonix said that Partnermed will distribute Sonoblate 500 for the treatment of prostate cancer in Norway and Sweden.
