Agfa installs HIS, PACS in Austria

Agfa HealthCare of Mortsel, Belgium, has installed its Orbis hospital information system (HIS) and Impax PACS software in the four-hospital Salzburger Landeskliniken in Austria.

Orbis is operational after 18 months of preparation and currently serves 350 organizational units within the system, including hospital wards, outpatient units, operating theaters, and specialist departments.

Approximately 600,000 patient records and other data have been migrated to Agfa's technology.
