Agfa HealthCare has signed a five-year radiology informatics agreement with Adventist Health System of Orlando, FL, the company said.
Under terms of the $35 million deal, Agfa will provide enterprise PACS technology for the Florida division of Adventist Health System in Orlando, which includes 17 hospitals and seven outpatient centers. Components will include Agfa's DX-S, CR 35-X, and CR 85-X systems, Impax for orthopedics software, and archive packages.
The arrangement will also help Adventist expand its data center, which will archive all diagnostic images for its Florida division, including mammography and cardiology images, according to Morsel, Belgium-based Agfa.
