Advanced visualization developer 3mensio Medical Imaging has signed a contract with the University Medical Center Utrecht in the Netherlands for the development and delivery of a new surgical visualization product, 3surgery.
The forthcoming product will be based on the latest 3mensio technology to convert 2D CT and MR images into 3D representations, according to the Bilthoven, Netherlands-based firm. The application will be completed with specific needs of vascular surgeons to have access to preoperative measurement tools, 3mensio said.
