Varian Medical Systems and Swedish radiation therapy software developer RaySearch have signed a long-term strategic collaboration agreement.
Under the deal, RaySearch of Stockholm will develop radiation therapy treatment planning software for integration into the Palo Alto, CA-based vendor's Eclipse treatment planning system. The collaboration will result in the development of several components, including radiobiological optimization software, according to the companies.
